the NORDEN
|
This building system incorporates ergonomics in today’s industrial wood product capabilities. This prefabricated or pre-cut “engineered lumber system” can add a new dimension to the Canadian, North American and German building processes.
This is a residential Canadian wood product building system. The NORDEN-HAUS™ encompasses innovative, ergonomic and adaptive designs which reflects the changing and evolving Canadian and international residential wood frame construction. The NORDEN-HAUS incorporates today‘s industrial wood product capabilities with safer methods for the workforce, profits for the developer, as well as more value for the end user. In principal, this building system has added another dimension to the Canadian building processes. The building types within this system can vary from single family homes to multi-family dwellings, even small commercial complexes such as motels, churches, and others. The following illustrations will show the uniqueness of the Norden – Haus building system in a visual context.

The building components are pre-cut or pre-built at a portable or home-based production facility. This increases the quality control and timelines of the product. This design produces a light weight, yet equally strong structure in comparison to other building methods. The standard, interchangeable pre-built components can be manually handled, especially in locations where mechanical or motorized materials handling equipment are not available, or possible, as a result of adverse topographic or climatic conditions.

I have incorporated ergonomics as it relates to a safe, simple to build, efficient, and sustainable building system. This Schoor-Way building method produces an affordable, buildable, livable, healthy, home and commercial complex.

There are many other important factors that relate to building systems in general. Many efficient building systems are in existence in Canada and elsewhere. Why then should anyone consider the NORDEN-HAUS™ instead of other, more established building systems? The NORDEN-HAUS™ can be chronicled by Sustainable Development, from the portable sawmill to a production facility, thereafter, the construction process and so on.

This engineered lumber building system lends itself well to be built in northen and far northern communities well building materials have to be flown.
